Lieutenant General DeAnna M. Burt Lt. Gen. DeAnna M. Burt served as the second Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations, Cyber, and Nuclear, United States Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. As the Chief Operations Officer, Lt. Gen. Burt carried overall responsibility for Operations, Sustainment, Cyber and Nuclear Operations of the United States Space Force. Lt. Gen. Burt earned her commission in 1991 as a distinguished graduate of the Air Force ROTC program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Her career included numerous space operations and staff positions in Air Force Space Command and U.S. European Command. She commanded the 2nd Space Operations Squadron, the 460th Operations Group, the 50th Space Wing and the Combined Forces Space Component Command. Lt. Gen. Burt is a distinguished graduate and former instructor of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School, and a graduate of the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies.
