Brigadier General ROBERT J. SCHREINER Brig. Gen. Robert J. Schreiner is the Deputy Director for Operations, Operations Directorate, the Joint Staff, National Military Command Center, Arlington, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Schreiner is responsible to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for ensuring continuous 24/7 operations from the National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center, including nuclear command and control and global operations monitoring, reporting, and direction to combatant commands. Brig. Gen. Schreiner graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998. He has commanded space operations units at the delta and squadron levels. He also commanded the National Reconnaissance Office’s Aerospace Data Facility Colorado and served as the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Director of Space Forces. He has held a variety of space operations, acquisition management, and engineering positions within the Space Force, Air Force, and the National Reconnaissance Office. Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Schreiner served as Commander, Aerospace Data Facility Colorado and Commander, NRO Delta 20, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado.
