USSPACECOM leaders travel to Indo-Pacific
Gen. Stephen N. Whiting, U.S. Space Command commander, Chief Master Sgt. Jacob Simmons, USSPACECOM command senior enlisted leader, and members of the USSPACECOM delegation met with Kenji Mikami, Executive Director, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System Strategy Office, and Tomonori Sato, President, Defense and Space Systems and their staff at the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, in Tokyo, April 23, 2024. As part of the visit, the USSPACECOM delegation received an update on the QZSS Hosted Payload, which is a pathfinding national security space cooperation initiative between the U.S. and Japan.
