The Vandenberg Cultural Resources Team protects 14 sacred Chumash Indian rock art sites across Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., in partnership with the Elders Council of the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. The Honda Ridge rock art site offers pictographs dating back 3,500 years, open to visitors with base access, the installation experts supported by AFCEC Wildland Support Module work together to ensure the Chumash tribe members have access the sacred sites.
