Vision We are the nation’s space intelligence center - providing progressive, predictive, and pioneering intelligence to outwit, out-reach and win in and through the space domain; protecting America and its allies in space now and into the future. History The National Space Intelligence Center was designated as a field operating agency of Headquarters U.S. Space Force, June 28, 2024. NSIC is headquartered and co-located with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is comprised of two units: the 1st Space Analysis Squadron and 2nd Space Analysis Squadron. Prior to its designation as a FOA, the organization was known as Space Delta 18 (National Space Intelligence Center), under Space Operations Command. 1st Space Analysis Squadron Mission: Create actionable foundational intelligence on foreign space capabilities, enabling military operations, force modernization and policymaking. 2nd Space Analysis Squadron Mission: Produce and deliver foundational intelligence on foreign threats to space operations to achieve national security objectives. 3rd Intelligence Analysis Squadron Mission: Produce and deliver integrated regional intelligence of foreign military and commercial space programs and advanced modeling of future space capabilities in support of force modernization, national policy making and military operations. 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron Mission: Provide data-centered, forensic scientific and technical analysis of foreign space and counterspace systems supporting current and future threat assessments.
