Brigadier General ROBERT J. HUTT Brig. Gen. Robert “Bobby” Hutt is the Legislative Liaison, Headquarters, United States Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Hutt is the Liaison between the Space Force and Congress on all programs, weapons systems and issues such as legislative and constituent inquiries. Brig. Gen. Hutt collaborates directly with the House of Representatives and Senate to ensure full authorization of the Space Force’s annual budget. Brig. Gen. Hutt also prepares the Chief of Space Operations and other senior Space Force leaders for engagements and testimony on Capitol Hill. Brig. Gen. Hutt received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1999 and initially served as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Crew Member at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. He transferred to Space Operations and served in Electronic Warfare and Missile Warning operational positions including commanding the 21st Operations Support Squadron, the 460th Operations Group and as Director of Space Forces under Air Forces Central Command. In addition to his operational assignments, he served in the Office of Air Force Legislative Liaison, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and Headquarters Staff for the Chief of Space Operations. Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Hutt was the Director, Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
