Lt. Gen. Michael A. Guetlein, commander of U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command, welcomed The University of Southern California as USSF’s newest member of its University Partnership Program on Feb. 28. Establishing strategic university partnerships like USC, enables USSF to recruit and educate a diverse and tech-savvy Guardian workforce, create opportunities for advanced academic degrees, open channels for university students and ROTC cadet scholarships and establish world-class research opportunities.
Lt. Gen. Michael A. Guetlein, commander of U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command, welcomed The University of Southern California as USSF’s newest member of its University Partnership Program. USC President Carol Folt signed the MOU with the USSF on Feb. 28. to begin this new program that will advance world-class academic research in specific areas of interest to help develop a 21st century, technology-savvy military service.
