Mission assured; the mission continues
Across the many units and flights at Vandenberg Air Force Base, the Airmen continue to accomplish the mission to provide assured access to space. While each unit at Vandenberg AFB is important to the mission, there is only one that can provide mission assurance to Atlas and Delta launches: the Mission Assurance Flight within the 2nd Space Launch Squadron.

Vandenberg all call addresses future of space
Members from the 30th SW gathered to listen as Mastalir and Hogan discussed information about the United States Space Force and what that means for the installation and members assigned. They also addressed upcoming improvements and upgrades across the base to include facilities, equipment and quality of life.

14th Air Force Redesignated as Space Operations Command
By order of Secretary of the Air Force Barbara M. Barrett, effective Dec. 20, 2019, Fourteenth Air Force was officially redesignated as Space Operations Command. Air Force military and civilian personnel previously assigned to Fourteenth Air Force are now assigned to SpOC by virtue of the redesignation action.
