INTELLIGENCE CENTER

The National Space Intelligence Center activated June 24, 2022. NSIC is headquartered and co-located with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is comprised of four units: the 1st Intelligence Analysis Squadron (threats from space), 2nd Intelligence Analysis Squadron (threats to space), 3rd Intelligence Analysis Squadron (capability integration), and the 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron (data exploitation). It was designated as a field operating agency of Headquarters U.S. Space Force on June 28, 2024. Prior to its designation as a FOA, the organization was known as Space Delta 18 (National Space Intelligence Center), under Space Operations Command.
