After the Secretary of the Air Force established the Interpersonal Violence Task Force in 2020, the team examined a broad range of 81 behaviors along what is known as the “Continuum of Harm” to determine if the DAF is keeping Airmen and Guardians safe, and providing needed support after they experience any kind of interpersonal violence.

Department of the Air Force Leaders direct second IG Disparity Review
The review follows the department’s 2020 Racial Disparity Review released in Dec. 2020 and expands its focus into three additional racial categories (Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander), gender, and one additional ethnic category (Hispanic/Latinx).

Four Airmen and Guardians among BEYA winners, CSAF gives keynote
Four Department of the Air Force service members were selected as recipients of the Military Service Award during the 2021 Black Engineer of the Year Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics conference in Washington, D.C., Feb. 12, 2021.
